India: Villager Kills Gumla Widow After Witch-Hunt

27th October: A 40-year-old widow was strangled to death by a villager at Leha village. The dead, Laxmi Devi, was branded a witch by the accused Sudhwa Munda, who confessed his crime. Read more here.
