Mbeya. The Village of Kalungu is dead still, almost everyone is mourning. It’s a quiet, eerie scene, marked by one slight anomaly. Most of the people out here are women and girls. By and large they keep to themselves, clearly not feeling they can freely talk to strangers. All the boys and men, this reporter learns, are in hiding.
