India: Two murdered for practicing witchcraft

Another case of killing people in the name of practicing witchcraft has come to the fore in Meghalaya where a brother and sister accused of practicing witchcraft were murdered by the mob.

Police informed that on Sunday, around 5 pm, residents of Pala Kseh village in East Jaintia Hills led by Shngain Lamare, Marbud Iakai, Boin Paslein, Loin Paslein, Sen Paslein and Bai Paslein went to the house of Desment Salahe (43) at Umkyrpong village. The people were armed with lethal weapons and they murdered Desment Salahe and her brother Nes Salahe (45).
